Responsible AI for QA/QC: Improving Quality Without Losing Accountability

A case study examining how GPD Group, a multidisciplinary firm, responsibly integrated QA/QC AI across its enterprise in partnership with Structured AI. GPD treats Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) as two distinct risk mitigation tasks. Assurance involves the processes in place before a milestone, while Control refers to the formal review conducted at each milestone. Structured AI operates within the Assurance phase and is not a replacement for formal Control.

The partnership began as a pilot program, and the two firms have collaborated closely for eight months. Rather than deploying the technology firm-wide immediately, Structured AI mapped workflows with GPD discipline by discipline. This was followed by a phased rollout to champion users, addressing the specific pressures of each unit. Structured AI trained these champions directly, who then spearheaded internal training for the remaining teams in subsequent stages.

GPD will discuss the internal reception of the technology, including challenges and successes, and how they maintained a secure environment. Structured AI will explain how workflows were mapped and how each discipline’s unique requirements were addressed.
