Structured AI

Raymond Zhao is co-founder and CEO of Structured AI, which uses AI to check construction drawings for errors before they reach the site. Having raised $5 million, Structured AI reviewed over $10 billion of projects last month. Raymond started out in architecture before reading Mathematics and Statistics at Oxford, where he was a Director of the University’s venture fund. He built automation software for investors, including an AI system at a £1B venture fund that increased its deal flow twenty-fold, then worked at Goldman Sachs. He kept hearing that architecture and engineering was an industry to stay away from: buried in paperwork and repetitive manual checking, with errors found only once they were expensive to fix. He founded Structured AI to change that and to give design engineers their time back. Raymond was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 list for AI.
