Dave Brose is the president of EMCS, Inc., a multistate, full-service civil engineering firm headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dave oversees EMCS operations including leading all development and implementation of strategies, procedures, and business plans to enhance company growth. He joined EMCS in 1990 and is involved in construction, survey, planning and design on all facets of transportation projects. He has worked on WisDOT projects in both rural and urban settings and has been a part of major private and public developments including Miller Park baseball stadium, General Mitchell International Airport, Potawatomi Casino and the Port Washington Generating Station. Dave has managed resurfacing and reconstruction of urban arterials and interstate freeways and has also played a key role in the project development for corridor studies, functional plans, freeway expansion, reconstruction, structure rehabilitations and safety improvement projects. Dave is highly organized and has a history of providing solutions and bringing his projects to completion. Dave is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota. He graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering in 1984.

Dave is very committed to the transportation industry and has served as the Board chair for the Board of Directors for American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC-WI). He is also on the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association Consultant Council (WTBA), the Wisconsin Highway Research Steering Committee, and is a Board member and past president of the Wisconsin Transportation Development Association (TDA).
