Didem Un Ates is an AI, Generative AI, and Responsible AI executive with 26 years of experience in management consulting (Capgemini, EY, and Accenture) and industry (Motorola, Microsoft, and Schneider Electric). She is currently the CEO of LotusAI.co.uk, where she supports Private Equity firms and PE-backed companies with their AI strategy, innovation, and implementation efforts.

Recently, Didem served as the Vice President, AI Strategy & Innovation, for Schneider Electric, where she defined the company’s AI and Generative AI strategy and innovation roadmaps. As a Goldman Sachs Value Accelerator Senior Operating Advisor & AI/Generative AI Council member, tinyML Foundation Board member, and Forbes Tech Council member, Didem is a passionate AI practitioner with numerous accolades such as Tech Women 100 Champion and Trailblazer 50. She has played a crucial role in the development and incubation of Microsoft Business AI Solutions at Microsoft Research and led initiatives like Alice Envisions the Future/Girls in AI Hackathons, which evolved into several Diversity in AI programs at Microsoft and among its Fortune 500 partners.

Didem has also led the operationalization of Responsible AI at Accenture, Microsoft, and Schneider Electric, dedicating her efforts to the future of AI and Generative AI. She focuses on implementing responsible and sustainable AI practices and aiding C-level executives in compassionate talent transformation. Before joining Schneider Electric, she was the head of Applied Strategy, Data & AI at the Chief Data Office of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions, overseeing major Data, AI, and Metaverse engagements and partnerships, including collaborations with OpenAI.
