Kate Marcotte is Chief Operating Officer of American Engineering Testing, Inc, (AET). Headquartered in St Paul, MN, AET is a 100% employee-owned multi-disciplined engineering firm serving clients nationwide and around the world from 21 offices in the Midwest and West.

Kate is passionate about leadership development and a firm environment where team members are not only valued but empowered to make a meaningful impact on AET and the industry. Her collaborative leadership style and ability to align cross-functional teams around shared goals have helped foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (inactive). She is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and a graduate of ACEC’s Senior Executive Institute, Class 27. Kate also serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Engineering Education Foundation of America (EEFA), an organization that is focused on shaping the future of the consulting engineering industry by connecting, developing and elevating future engineers.
