Mike Giacco is Vice President of Technology and IT at AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE), where he leads the firm’s innovation in digital transformation and smart infrastructure. With over 20 years of experience in the AEC industry, and 10 years focused on technology integration, he has advanced the use of AI, reality capture, and digital twins to modernize transportation infrastructure evaluation and management.

An FAA Part 107 Licensed Remote Pilot-in-Command, Mr. Giacco directs AIE’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Program and has performed diverse UAS operations including signature bridge inspections, construction documentation, emergency response, and survey/mapping. Known for blending technical expertise with forward-thinking leadership, he continues to drive the adoption of cutting-edge solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and decision-making across the built environment.
