Mike Woeber, CPA is the CEO and co-founder of Corporate Tax Advisors, Inc. (CTA), a specialty tax consulting firm based in Huntsville, Alabama, focused exclusively on federal and state incentives, including the R&D Tax Credit, the Section 179D deduction, and energy and employment credits. With more than three decades in tax and accounting, Mike began his career at Ernst & Young in 1989 on audit engagements for publicly traded manufacturing, healthcare, and technology companies before moving to E&Y’s tax group. Over the following 15 years he served as a tax partner at a regional CPA firm, where he built a deep specialization in the federal Research & Development Tax Credit. In 2014 he co-founded CTA, which has grown into a nationally recognized firm serving engineers, architects, manufacturers, and software developers. A licensed CPA and frequent speaker for CPA societies, professional organizations, and business associations, Mike helps business owners capture tax savings through technically sound, audit-ready strategies rooted in real-world experience.
