Nora Swanson joined JB&B in 2023 as Director of Innovation and Knowledge Management, bringing over two decades of experience in the AEC industry. A curious engineer at heart, Nora is passionate about the intersection of technology and the human experience.

With a background as a mechanical engineer, project manager, and Director of Design Technologies, she empowers innovation through creative problem-solving, emerging technology adoption, workflow optimization, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Since joining JB&B, she has established an Innovation Team, launched a new intranet and learning management system, and spearheaded in-house AI development.

She has been recognized as a “40 Under 40” industry leader and named an Outstanding Woman in Technology by Crain’s. Nora holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University—where she was also a proud member of the Dance Team—and is a licensed Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and Certified SmartScore and WiredScore Accredited Professional.
