P.J., currently the Vice President for the Transportation and Construction Business Lines at HR Green focusing on the Business Development for the national practices, has enjoyed a career of over 37 years in the consulting engineering industry. By placing a high value on relationship building, he has become a trusted advisor to many in the transportation industry. His personal demeanor, strong communication skills, and strategic thinking ability have converted business development opportunities into business successes.

Understanding the value of ACEC within the consulting engineering industry, P.J.’s extensive committee work has resulted in innovative programs that significantly increase member engagement and raise the profile of ACEC. As a Board member, past Board Chair and current national director of ACEC Illinois, P.J. has a prominent voice within ACEC and represents our industry well by communicating the value that engineers, and their project work bring to our communities.

Seeing the value that sports have in confidence, personal and team-building skills for our youth, P.J. has spent countless hours leading youth sports organizations, while also spending quality time coaching and mentoring. In the spirit of building courageous leaders, P.J. has volunteered time to lead and mentor the undergraduate chapter of his fraternity as a Chapter advisor, reinforcing the “replace yourself” mentality.

P.J. and his wife, Janet, raised their family in the western suburbs of Chicago, all while maintaining a strong allegiance to the St Louis cardinals. Their three grown children, and grandson, are located in St Louis, Charleston, SC, and Chicago IL.
