- 20–25 minutes from Phoenix Mountain Preserve
Hotel Location
Set against the Sonoran Desert, the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge pairs a true resort setting with easy access to some of the area's best dining, shopping, and outdoor experiences. The resort is just minutes from Desert Ridge Marketplace and High Street, with Scottsdale attractions and the Phoenix Mountain Preserve within easy reach.
Plan for the Desert
Phoenix in October is typically warm and sunny during the day, with cooler temperatures after sunset. If you're planning to spend time outdoors, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes. A light sweater or jacket is also recommended for cooler evenings and air-conditioned meeting spaces.
And don't forget a water bottle—the desert climate is dry, even when temperatures feel comfortable.
