Simon Gandica, PE, PMP is a Senior Director at Smith Seckman Reid (SSR), where he leads initiatives focused on project management development, project execution, process optimization, and strategic alignment across a 750-person engineering organization.

Simon has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and project management, including managing complex, multidisciplinary projects across multiple countries. His career has provided him with a unique perspective on project delivery through experience at the owner level and, for the past 10 years, as a consultant. This combination gives him a holistic understanding of project management—from defining business objectives and managing risk from the owner’s perspective to leading design teams, managing client expectations, and delivering projects as a trusted advisor.

As a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE), Simon combines technical expertise with practical project management experience. His current focus is on developing a value-driven PMO that strengthens project managers, improves consistency and accountability, and ultimately creates greater value for clients and their organizations.
